The demo for Three Random Archives will remain permanently up until I release the new FINAL build.
TL;DR as long as the demo doesn't allowed for the user to buy the full game, in-game, the demo is safe. But obviously the quality and visual difference from demo to full release would be strange/awkward so the demo will be remade in the new engine.
Speaking of new engines, the engine of chose that the game will be remade in is - Unreal Engine 4!
The engine is a lot smoother than I thought it would be, and my PC is taking it like a champ! (Hopefully it stays that way, and doesn't implode on itself) And learning the interface was EXTREMELY simple. Blueprint, UE's visual scripting language, might be a bit of challenge - but I'll master it as I'm reworking everything.
Target release date for the UE build: Early to mid 2024
