I whipped this up in a single day. Expect bad things.
Also - this has nothing to do with all the new stuff I’m working on. It’s a separate patch I’ve made to fix some of the most common bugs I left you guys with when I cancelled the project. There are also a few new additions to make the game a bit more user friendly. Hopefully everything works as expected! Report all problems to support@sanicball .com as soon as you find them.
Here’s what’s changed:
Fixed banning super sanic not having any effect
Made a few attempts at fixing the problems with not being able to properly start a race with too many players. I still don’t know exactly what causes it. The “waiting for players” feature should at least work now
Introduced the option to host a server without NAT punching, for cases where port forwarding works and NAT punching doesn’t
Added a singleplayer button to the menu - it doesn’t have any real differences, just runs a server with only one slot
Added a note when you’re done racing that tells you how to return to the lobby
Added a message in the chat when a player or AI finishes the race
Probably more, but as always, I tend to forget the minor tweaks
