What you see here is the result of approximately 2 months of work. I know it doesn't seem like much. The game is still in it's Pre-Alpha stages, and I'm just focused on making sure the core fundamentals feel just right.

Made this neat little pixel art. It took me over an afternoon and it's not the best, but I'm still satisfied on how it turned out. I made it while using a limited color palette if that matters.
I just began work onto implementing Companions into combat, along with other quality of life changes.

Okay so I have been on that grind these past few days. I just revamped the title screen, and main menu. I think I'm finally out of mid development hell since things have been speeding up a lot lately. The game should be released by the end of next month.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
