Sorta Important Poll: Screen Shakes via Skills


Just a quick question regarding skills: should I change it so that the screen shake can be caused by attack-based skills?

Option 1: Keep current setup where only the Showtime skills can cause a screen shake

Option 2: Give all viable skills the ability to shake the screen when they reach a certain damage threshold

Option 3: Give only a select few skills (Jack-O-Bomb, 4th Wall, etc.) the ability to shake the screen

Next up

This whole "making a new battle frame" situation does give me an excuse to add some things I had been putting off for far too long.

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!

New look, new direction.

I know it's completely unintentional, but I swear this is the universe trying to convince me to dig my old handiwork out of retirement and do something with him.

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

Still deciding if it's worth committing to a full rebuild, but I at least figured out a better way to handle the party swapping mechanic.

New project is having a fun, early outing.

I might be having too much fun with this process...
