Still having gamepad issues? Try this.

Hey players, while researching some oddities with gamepads, I stumbled upon this Steam forum post: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/1354868867713562293/

In short, if your gamepad is mapping certain buttons to certain actions regardless of your in-game controller configuration (example: A = enter, right stick = mouse, etc), you can disable Steam’s default controller mapping.

To quote the thread linked above: “Steam>Settings>Controller>General Controller Settings. Uncheck all the boxes.”

I hope this helps! If it doesn’t, let me know and I will keep digging.

Thanks for playing,
~MoscowModder

The poll is over, and Tuhrahkkkii is the winner!

With that, Crucible phase 2 has begun.

For more Carnage in Space news, I highly recommend you take a look over on the sequel's devlog:

Happy New Year!

It's been a while since I last posted, but I've still been hard at work with the first chapter of Kodon's story.

And to show for it, we have this stylish fellow - he may be slippery, but he's no match for Kodon's homing shot!

Hmm, what was that someone said about backstabbing?

Sure has been a while since I posted something new, huh? Well, that's because I've been working on something big (that, and bugfixing).

Here's a little preview of that something!

I thought the escape sequence in Chapter 2 didn't have enough urgency to it, so I spiced it up a little.

I also wrote a new song to go with it!

Keep an eye out for this in the next update, coming... whenever I feel like it.

Sweet victory.

Kodon's prologue level is DONE! That's milestone 1 of 4 for completing Phase 3 and reaching Crucible's final release.

Stay tuned for more news in the coming months!

IT'S HAPPENING.

The sequel to Ignition, Carnage in Space: Crucible, is releasing (in Early Access) on GameJolt and Steam on 6/9/23!

There's something off about this room.

Almost as if we've entered a new dimension - a THIRD dimension.

Anyway, Construct 3 has had 3D features for a while and I decided to play with them a little. What do you think? Cool effect? Too jarring?

Rejoice! The jankiest puzzle in the game has been re-done.

It's still a little fiddly, but now the boulder's less likely to do screwy things like get stuck on a platform, or teleport you to the side on touch.
