Hey there everybody! I'm back at it again, as @LivingCorpse7 just posted the roster for the next fan game and it looks absolutely wonderful! The new animatronics modeled are perfectly in-style and look amazing!

But we're here for the first of what will be two posts. Here I'll propose the characters missing first and foremost. In the next one, I'll try and propose the abilities for them.

New characters suggestions

The Puppet (from Popgoes Arcade, Fighting Chance)

• it's a new design for an animatronic we know and love! It's visually striking and it's the face of Fighting Chance. I'd say it's deserving of a spot in the roster

Wait, what? That's all? Yes. Yes, it is all. Now see, the series has a big problem...

It's a mess. You might be or not a fan of it, but it's clear to see how absolutely messed up the timeline is, between cancelled fan games, retconned ones and all.

If we wanted to be precise, we'd still be missing the False Animatronics, but we only have 2/5 so it's best for now to place them as enemies, the Unwithereds (except Foxy), but we have them as hoaxes/skins so it makes no sense to put them, and some Arcade enemies, but as the name implies they're best as enemies.

So... if we're only talking about Evergreen, there's nothing else to put for now except for the Puppet. It's hard to understand because Evergreen is still a WIP after all these years.

We don't have all of the designs. We don't know all of the characters. @LivingCorpse7 is trying to make a universe on a fan game which is not released.

This is hard stuff. It's a Fanverse game, he can't just not put it in... but Popgoes is the messiest of the universes he is modeling and it shows. This is not a critique nor a comment on the roster shown, it's a critique of the Popgoes universe as a whole. It's a mess.

Me, I've never been a big fan of it personally, but I know many people are. And I looked through all the animatronics and this is the only one I think it's actually missing. But one final note.

The 2016 Popgoes saga should not be included

First and foremost, I'm a guy who always loves to see the models @LivingCorpse7 makes. I'm anticipating already the next roster while appreciating what I'm seeing of the one he currently modeled. That roster is very complete Evergreen-wise, by the way, so good job with that!

2016 Popgoes is another universe. Literally. Do you wanna know what he would have to model to make it complete? Here, get a list of the characters missing:

• the 6 classic designs, because even Funko made that difference alongside Kane Carter

• Scarecrow Strings and Sec-Strings

• Scarecrow Buttons and Sec-Buttons

• Simon

• all the 6 Lux animatronics

• Gem Stone and Grave Stone

• classic Manora and the scrapped Morse

• Lillie the Lamb, Cody the Coyote and Owen the Owl

• Glitch Bonnie from that one mini-game in Arcade 2

How many are there? 25. 25 new models. For one part of one universe.

Sure, some could be skins, yes, but UM does not treat skins as skins, but as whole new characters, so that's how they should be treated here too.

@LivingCorpse7 would have to make not 5, not 10, but 25 models (for the sake of what, being complete?) for a retconned series of games. I like the approach he has taken so far: to consider all scrapped content of a game (such as the frozen Glamrock Endo or Nightmare Candy), but not the April Fools' for now.

If elaborate trolls such as 7 Days Free (aka Nightmare Below Disney of FNaTI) will be included is completely up to him (as some designs are really great like Scrap Candice), but I suggest to not include the rejected or retconned games.

It's too much of a hassle and it means having to put a sleuth of other animatronics too in the future for the sake of consistency. Now sure, if you want to put Simon and Sec-Strings in because they're the main antagonist and main protagonist, I can understand that, but I would not go further than that.

There are so many more fan games with so many confirmed characters (Jolly, FNaTI... the list goes on)... is this really worth it for just Popgoes for now?

And with that, I end the post. So... what do you think? Sure, they're iconic designs, but do we actually need them in UM? I'd love to know your thoughts!
