It’s been a while since the last time I posted any updates on the games development. But just to kill the silence I figured I may as well speak a little bit about the games dungeons. As of writing this post all of the dungeons in the game have had there layout complete and I am now just doing the technical aspects of them (Room linking, Puzzle triggers ect). The newer dungeons I have added also function a little different gameplay wise. Such as being more complex in side and having different methods in order to enter.
On another note I have been playing around with the games lighting recently, a good example of the changes is this screenshot here, which is the same area from a gif I posted above, but with the new lighting.
Speaking of dungeons, I’d also like to speak about the warp castle mini dungeons which I did tease in a trailer a couple of month ago.
These mini dungeons feature small puzzles that the player must complete such as avoiding lightning strikes while on ice or finding a certain number of hidden items.
Once these puzzles are completed players are awarded with a warp point on there map which they can use for fast travel and saves.
