For the past month, I’ve been working on this little game. It’s been something that has been in the back of my mind for a couple of years. It first tried my hand at it, but it ended with me just confused. This past August I was laid off and found a couple of classes that were on sale. One of them was for Unity with C#. Seeing that I had taken some classes back in college, and there was a job I wanted that used the language, I decided to give it a try and relearn anything I may have lost.
As it looked, I didn’t forget much about the language, but it did help with the understanding of Unity. After a couple of class work games completed, I decided to start work on something that I felt I could make some money off of.
So here I am. I’m almost done with the actual work, and the programming side of it is finished. There might just be some code tuning, but really all that’s left is the art side.
Now I love drawing. I, however, do not like making assets. I never have, even when I was working. So I felt that with my skills I should go into the Pixel Art style. It’s a little easier than to go full swing into blender or full animation with photoshop.
