Skippable premise: What the heck's Forsaken AR?

You might have heard of it, since it has 13k followers, but it's a fan game that wants to continue the original FNAF AR: Special Delivery game. More animatronics, more skins, more MR environments... it puts what the original game couldn't or didn't want to place. It manages three game servers and a Discord server... not bad for a fan game!

The thoughts

I've noticed the skins have been put both in Refreshed (Sweet Tooth Jack-o-Chica for instance) and in the BennetJL pack, so they're being placed in different FNAF World games/packs of importance. Skins from this game have started to gain relevance, so that's why I'm sharing some thoughts about the game right now.

Unlike some of the fan games I proposed in the past, I know this one very well. I was one of the players of Special Delivery to have collected all CPUs, skins and characters (but not all profile icons, that would be insanity) before the game shut down. I was one of the players to watch from afar the birth of Forsaken AR. I still remember the first Endo-02 mod... if I recall correctly, it was applied on Toy Bonnie. Good times.

The game always had promise. From Forsaken AR: Darkest Delivery to what is now Factory Reset, the game has a lot of effort being put into it. That's why I'm writing this post, to propose to... not place the Forsaken AR skins.

Wait, what? That's not the logical conclusion to the sentence! Why not place the skins? I'll tell you my reasons, at least, to not do that:

• it's an incomplete game: this might be the shallowest of the reasons here, but we're starting small. The game's incomplete: it won't be complete until it's cancelled. It doesn't look like this will happen soon. So you'd always have only a part of the skins from Forsaken AR and never all of them. Isn't that annoying? It would be to me

• skins can just get eliminated suddenly: another big problem. I'm talking about the Frightful Folly event, where Ghost Trap for example was just... taken away. Gee, ain't that too bad? Imagine programming the skin, modeling and all and then just... having to erase all that hard work because the dev who made them called it quits. Bummer

• where exactly would it even fit? And this here is the final question I bring you: where the heck would you place them? The FNAF universe? It wouldn't fit! The FNAF universe is exactly that: a universe with only official content from FNAF, whatever that content is. So... you can't exactly put it there. A new universe? What would it even be based on? Maybe you could find content for it, but... is it even worth it? What would they be skins of?

Now, you see, I left out more subjective cons here, like for example thoughts on designs (which, btw, 50/50. Some are good, some are best left in a ditch). But I don't think it's a good idea to place Forsaken AR skins. I would welcome them nonetheless if they were to be added, but I suggest avoiding them for the reasons I wrote about.
