Thoughts?

Let me explain my thought process here.

Variables are already confusing as-is if you're not using the addon to split them into separate categories. However, with that in mind I cannot simply add a category for each new variable type I may want to add.

This would consolidate all variable types into a single category, with a single "Variable" modal.

This would give me room to add another variable type later on if need be.

Useless Scratch facts # 1:

The order of the motion category blocks in Scratch 3 was changed from how they appeared in Scratch 2 in the 11th hour.

In the Scratch-Blocks 1.0 developer testing playground, the order is identical to Scratch 2.

Let's play a game! Which one of these was rendered in Scratch 4.0 and which one was rendered in Unsandboxed?

A minor update has been released for Unsandboxed. Full changelog is in the article.

Useless Scratch facts # 3:

A speech-to-text extension was being tested in early versions of 3.0 but was scrapped, most likely due to an unresolved issue of it randomly stopping.

The code and assets for it still exist and are even implemented in some mods.

So I can say for certain that Scratch 4.0 will depend on modern Blockly, which for now is being held together by the old GUI code from 3.0

First look at a redesigned Scratch Cat, possibly for 4.0

If Scratch-Blocks 2.0 was nicknamed "spork" during development, what should I call this? spatula?

An update has been released for Unsandboxed.

Changelog is in the article.
