"Time Rift" is a very nice arcade puzzle game. You need to be quick and you need to use your brain.

The object is easy, even a 3 years old child can understand it. The map moves and you gotta watch out not to be touched by the purple/pink side. Now that doesn't sound too interesting, but you can only fly one side and the diamonds in the level will change your direction. There are barriers you have to shoot, and bonus targets you can take in order to do better than others. And very important you can rewind, in order to undo mistakes, and some barriers will restore when you turn back time but there are also some which don't making rewinding very important. When you find the exit, you complete the map.
The game is set up in a very nice futuristic setup. The design is just dark with a few colors used but this allows you to focus on the map design, and to work out how puzzles are set up. The soundtrack is just what the game needs, a nice electronic tune.
Not only does the game start easy and build up in difficulty, but the game also has a good tutorial system that is very smoothly integrated in the game. This smoothness makes it easy to learn the game mechanics as you go.

The leaderboard system allows you to compare with other players so you can find out how good you are, and has also very nice trophies.... Not to mention the "The Player We Do Not Deserve" (do I earn that trophy now due to writing this review?) is pretty funny.
Now I only played the demo version, and it already came with the warning the game is not yet finished. I have a Logitec controller and it work fine in the game, steering the er.. "ship", shooting, rewinding all worked there. In the end result screens and in the menus the "A" and "B" keys were always ignored, but fortunately I could still resort there to using Enter and Escape on my keyboard. Since I didn't suffer in-game I won't fart on this too much. Is this a bug or an issue with my controller?
All in all, if you have a quick mind and good reflexes and like to put them to the test, this is really the game for you.
You can find Time Rift on Game Jolt, and it's been brought to you by @Lightshards
