To create precise overworld danmaku, you need at least 100 events filling the borders of a single map...

And at least 10 maps to create a single simple Touhou-styled stage with dungeon crawling elements.

That's why for those who wants a free RPG Maker (or an alternative of it) to make a game that is good and fun to play (or outright mimicking the mechanics of my games), I don't recommend RPG Maker VX Ace Lite, since the huge limitations it has: Nag, no script calling, no script editing (script editing is important if somebody has created a script for VX Ace that emulates the RPG Maker MV Map Projectiles plugin and you want to add it into the Script section of your game), a max of 20 maps (so you could simply use it for very short dungeon crawling games), and huge limitations of the database. I think Lite is suited for short Yume Nikki Fan Game Jam version of Yume Nikki fangames, rather than the full version of such games.

To create a danmaku-RPG hybrid, the only choices for you to create them at the moment easily are RPG Maker MV and MZ, since there are already plugins that allow you to create overworld projectiles, created by Galv, but the MV version also has a plugin that emulates the Undertale battle system, so we can make battles to have bullet-hell sections in MV, a feature that MZ is yet to have. But these two versions are quite expensive, so if you want to create a game that corporates both the danmaku and RPG elements, please save up for that, or just stick around with Yume Nikki-styled games created using older versions of RPG Maker or the free alternatives for RPG Maker (including RPG Paper Maker (for 2.5D and 3D games) and OHRRPGCE (for 2D games, including a simple (but take some time to master) custom scripting language) if you want to create a "fun" game using free RPG creation software or cheaper old versions of RPG Maker. (Yume Nikki-styled games are quite fun to create, especially if you plan to add Effects with bizarre abilities, like one that can change the player footstep sounds into pig oinking (albeit that is just a useless gag Effect for visual and audio gags, and that is currently a fictional Effect (not exist in any existing Yume Nikki fangames)). As long as you have ideas for unusual items with special abilities (like Doraemon's gadgets), you can easily turn it into a Yume Nikki Effect by adding a name for the Effect based on the ability you want to add for it (see the following lines) and add the ability that you want to add for the Effect based on the "unusual item" idea you have earlier!)

I post this to give newbies some advices on how to create amazing games even with little to no programming knowledge, even though they created those games for fun, not for any intentions of gaining fame online (unlike me, who seek fame online by creating games and host them on game distribution sites). If those newbs are wealthy enough to get RPG Maker MV and MZ, then they have to be familiarize with the plugin command, script call and script notetag syntax (which is considered to be the "Normal Mode" game creation level (which requires the newbies in question to learn about script notetags, script calls, and plugin commands) (The plugins used for the bullet-hell RPG hybrid thingy are considered to be of the "Normal Mode" game-making level, since they contains a decent amount of script calls, notetags and plugin commands in order for them to be used in the game)). In my opinion, if they just really want to mess out with game-making and just make them for fun with no intention to gain attention, then just make a Yume Nikki-styled game. If you want to pump your skill even further and you are ambitious enough to gain fame, then make a bullet hell-RPG hybrid like me.

I put this in the RPG Maker Hub's Help channel for the purpose of adding some helpful information for the n00bs who don't know where to start with RPG Maker game creation if they want to create a fun game.

This is literally the game's development state now.
