What a weird place, this looks different from the other levels...
For #ScreenshotSaturday I've started on the Mission 4 boss intro, which gives a firsthand look at how Emerald Horn treats his prisoners...
Is that a recolored enemy I see? For SHAME
Yeah I wanted a way to reuse the Al fight without having you actually fight him again. So this is a different cyber mutant.

Aside from some back end refinements, got the attacks implemented for the Emerald Warden. Now to build out some more of the level.
No screenshot this week, but I've got an attack animation for Emerald Horn. The reason I'm doing this first is because he's going to do this in the intro cutscene to flex

Fun fact: Jegudiel's wings were originally animated programmatically. You can see the lerp-ing here. But one of my friends introduced me to the magic of GMS2 Sequences. I ended up using them to animate the wings and most of the bosses.
Hopefully this goes through despite Gamejolt being slow atm. I had a fair amount of minor tweaks this week, but I also got Emerald Horn's smash attack implemented as an actual attack!
Progress was a bit slow this week, BUT I got the smash animation incorporated with the boss intro in time for #ScreenshotSaturday
