Undertale Pixel Perfect v0.0.4 Devlog 4


Welcome back! For the umpteenth time. I am happy to announce... I have certainly made progress! 

Here are the new Toriel sprites, in and out of battle:

Next, we have the Sewers! I was keeping this part of the Forgotten Paths a surprise, and I'm glad I did, because I completely remade the tileset- it's unrecognizable from my first couple sprites. This will be one of two major parts of the Forgotten Paths, the rest of the Paths is just to make the Ruins feel less completely linear and probably won't have unique enemies and such.

Here's one of the rooms from the current version:

I'm also really proud of this tileset, which I completely made myself!

Third on the list is the updated beginning tileset- as you can see below, the walls no longer look like they're melting. Strangely enough, I drew inspiration from Roark's gym in Pokemon Platinum. (No direct plagiarism this time, I swear. I didn't copy anything from it, just used it as a reference image.)

Fourth, we have some updated enemy sprites: the training dummy, Loox, Vegetoid, Migosp, and Moldsmal, during a regular playthrough.

I've also (finally) resprited Final Froggit, Whimsalot, and Moldessa, with Parsnik almost complete. Migosp and Astigmatism will be added in v0.0.5. (The Whimsalot sprite will probably also be updated in v0.0.5, since I made it a while ago.)

Fifth, new title screen! As you can already see on the game page, every major update will have a new title/version name from now on. 

Of course, much more than this has been done since the last devlog, but these are the things I specifically wanted to show off.

Only a couple of items remain on my to-do list, so I'll see you again when v0.0.4 releases!

I can't wait to take a long break from this project...
