Heya! It's been a while, hasn't it?
I guess I never technically left, but I haven't posted in...
Oh gosh, it's been 3 months. Time flies when you're having fun...
Anyway, development is at a steady pace at the moment.
I’ve been working on this mod for what? 5 months? Way too long, in my opinion, to be working on one version. Which is why I’m happy to announce that the first version of the mod, v0.0.1, will be releasing in just a week or two!
I'm also beginning to realize that I've given next-to-no details about the new mod since I restarted in base UNDERTALE, so here’s some new information:
As stated in the description, the first available version of the mod will revamp all of the rooms from the first room of the game to the leaf pile room.
It will also show off a sneak path of the Ruins alternate path.
Froggit & Whimsun battle sprites will be included, as well as new menu buttons. Actual changes to the battle system- TP/EN, Defending, etc. will be left to a later update.
There's also a new "tweaks" system (name subject to change) in which the player can enable or disable QoL changes to the game- Auto-Run, FUN value in the stats menu, etc. etc.
Changes have been made to both the Genocide and Pacifist routes.
Plus, there's tons more you'll just have to find for yourself.
As for future versions, I have some plans; the city of HOME, for example. But of course, I'm going to reveal details related to other areas of the game when I'm actually working on them. And the priority will be making the game actually playable by finishing each section of the base game.
Well, that's all for now! After the first version releases, I’ll hopefully be able to release many more devlogs, with new features and showcases.
TL/DR:
