Update ver. 3-27-2024


Hi Smashers!

I've done a few more updates that I'd like to share!

First of all, I had a bug where dashing and turn dashing stayed in place. I fixed that. I booted up Ultimate and checked out how Mario moved when beginning a dash or turn dash, and added the proper movement.

I also made adjustments to air movement where it was too slow. So moving horizontally was a pain. You now move in the air much more in line with Ultimate. Also in movement, I added a stable, consistent multiplier to Root Motion values. No more relying on Time.deltaTime to adjust movement, it wasn't working right. As such, EDGES are almost totally consistent now. I just have to fix grabbing them when falling/moving downward.

Next up, I did a few touch-ups on controls. Now you can properly use your Side Special when pushing B while running, among others.

I have a few more ideas I want to develop/implement, like fixing up the damage animations, knockback velocity and implementing grabs/throws.

When I get a little "dry" of ideas when developing, I'm still preparing and packaging vets and their assets and backing them up for the future. All in all, doing pretty well!
