Phew! I've been working like a dog for these past few days lol. On both this game and my opera, so time's divided lol.
I've added in a few controls that were missing, such as jumping and shielding while turning or restarting a run/sash when in runbrake. I'm having a tough time with dash-dancing however, that'll take more time. I've also adjusted the airdodge. You now will do a normal "Brawl"-styled airdodge, but if you hold left or right you can steer it in that direction while hovering in place for a VERY short time. Kinda like in SSBU!
I did some tests re: colour correction for the test stage, because I switched back to Mario's default Ultimate textures, so I tested adjusting the saturation and stuff. I have this idea for each stage in the future for their lighting and colours, so yeah.
I made yet more small adjustments to perfect air movement. Where I was before, the horizontal air movement was way too sluggish and Mario was floaty.
I applied the fix I did for approaching edges from the ground (the root motion) to Super Jump Punch and all other root motion animations, now the movement is a lot more precise. I want to eventually keep working on edges, like grabbing them while falling.
Various other bugs here and there are being found and crushed as I type this. :) I'm SO glad right now that I planned ahead so much as I did re: designing Fighters!
