Update ver. 5-31-2024


First off, I want to say that I'm going to be uploading new gameplay shots to the page very soon!

Okay, now to the updates!

First, I'm testing adding more features yet again. I'm adding grab cuts and throwing. Grab cuts, in case it's not clear, is grab releasing after a set number of frames has elapsed. Throwing will be fixed when I re-do the knockback code and animation system for it.

I want to apologize to my poor followers lol for the blank eyes on Test Dummy Mario when P1 grabbed him. Each animation for some odd reason requires me to have keyframes for animation on the eyeballs otherwise the texture won't load. It's an odd glitch D:

Next up, I'm working out my idea for implementing a "Dummy", box-shaped item to test out item grabs and throwing (including "dropping") (items like the capsule, perhaps). I also want to implement air throw and grab code. I will take this approach to develop other item types, like shooting, battering, transforming, etc.

It should be somewhat easy, but before I forget I should add air footstooling lmao.

Finally, for hitboxes, I want to add tripping (using the TripChance attribute in collision code). No need to worry. I REFUSE to add Brawl's random tripping mechanic! :)
