[v1.0.0.4] PRE-RELEASE! || Countdown Begins!


Hello everybody!

Squine Mode it’s here again!

After several weeks without updates in which I worked hard to achieve the greatest possible number of changes and improvements in the game, I bring the new version of REGEN, in this case, the **Pre-Release version**(Yes, the next version will be the “officially” complete), without saying more, I hope you enjoy it and I thank you for all the support you have given us in this month.

So, officially, these are the updates that brought the new version:

REGEN (v1.0.0.4)

  • New menú selection screen

  • 2 New gaming modes! (Challenge & Time Attack)

  • A total of 18 new rooms added (10 on Challenge & Time Attack, 8 on Normal mode).

  • Remove a lot of traps, the game it’s so much easier than the last version.

  • Save & Load system added.

  • 2 new enemies added.

  • 3 new OSTs !

  • Now, when you press Escape, you are transported to the menu, and the game doesn’t restart.

  • 2 New trophies.

  • Updated the “x2 Coins” Upgrade, to “x4 Coins”, added a new level to that, and easier to catch coins.

  • Added another “Regen” or “Regeneration” room.

  • Actually, you can see the ACTUAL game map on this page.

  • Remove some spike pitfalls.

  • Fixed some bugs with the “GJ Login”.

  • Actually you can play 80 rooms on normal mode!

In a few weeks will begin kickstarter campaign, so, stay tuned.

VERSION 1.0.0.2 || What you expected, but better!

Added a very subtle detail, but now there are multiple parallax layers of particles, so the particles are moving at different speeds in the camera depending on depth!

In the first act of the game, you can explore shops and houses. While I’ve done the basic layouts, decorating these spaces is beyond my artistic skills.

UPDATE IN COMING? Probably a new update called “DELUXE UPDATE” would come on September! In this update I add new challenges, new time attacks, new rooms, and a ROOM EDITOR! After this update, a new contest would appear with the room editor.

SURPRISE! || The pre-release next week & Kickstarter Campaing!

Last month I added a small label to the save animation, and also changed the in-game cursor so it can be more visible now!

I also learned how to zoom videos in my clip editor.

TOMORROW || Still not the Version 1.0.0.3 *Probably tomorrow.* ** **_(If you see some changes on the game page like Higscores & Trophies, you actually know why.)_

I added a very small frame-pause when player does critical hits and when an enemy dies.

Also added a hit vfx on player (I just noticed the player never had one)
