Took me long enough. To be honest, I thought I’d be finished with the entire game by now, but college life is full of surprises.
As I said before, a complete restart is required, but don’t worry. I made sure doing so is worth your time. Those starting areas were filled with many unwelcoming things like high encounter rates, and flat backgrounds. Thanks to some changes, that’s no longer the case.
Speaking of changes, I actually bothered to keep a list for once. Here’s pretty much everything new/different in this version
Gameplay Changes
Chapter 4 - first dungeon playable
NPCs now appear in nations - Some are helpful, some just add flavor. The world isn’t populated by just guards now. XD
New Feature - Enemy Types and Drops
Planeptune is now a proper area
Certain skills have been changed
Chapter 2 Midboss tweaked
Chapter 3 Endboss tweaked
Aesthetical Changes
Changes to the appearance of the Title, Menu, and Battle screens
Battle Statistics, Parameter Graph and Character Info added to Profile Menu
Minor Dialogue Changes (Added to further elaborate on points that either make sense only to me, or lack sufficient explanation. Story has not been changed.)
Custom weapon textures for the CPUs
New/Edited animations for some skills
Name change in some dungeons
Almost all areas now have music from the Neptunia games
As usual, tell me if you find anything game-breaking, and don’t be afraid to ask if you feel something isn’t how it should be.
My goal is to be done with the game by May of this year, 1 year since I first started working on Exadimension Neptunia. But considering how things have turned out so far, that’s not likely going to happen.
