Version 0.1.2 has been released!


Fixes:

cannot offset position by moving into the edges of the screen

fixed bug that made boulders not move (issue with implementing old sound effect)

Fireballs and Boulders no longer despawn upon touching the sides of the screen

projectiles fired by Cyber Sentinels, Killer Drones, Tank Machines, and Aconite no longer despawn if spawned on the edge of the screen

Additions:

3 new perks, 1 for the Fireball, Cyberbomb, and Starblade each

graphic icon for weapon cooldowns

Changes:

Boulder sound effect has been changed

Fireball base damage nerfed (15 -> 5)

Fireball now moves in a circular manner while travelling upwards

perk spawns are modified, with each one focused on a specific type (damage, cooldown, and miscellaneous)

Vix performs her side orb attack more often, but can only do it while in the center of the screen

Aconite damage nerfed

contact 17 -> 8

fumes 2 -> 1

thorns 8 -> 4

code simplifications to clean it some more

Next up

A pre-release build of Zelda-like Bosses is being released tomorrow. It contains most of the game, with most of the secrets removed. I hope you enjoy and fill out the form when the build is out!

Project Protostar will be officially releasing on Monday!

The full release of Antivirus is coming soon, with several new changes! The game should be finished by the end of the year at the latest.

I've begun making Doom top-down. Not certain if I'll make a full game out of it.

Project Protostar is near completion, with only some audio and official art left to go! I might stream the game on Twitch to try and raise further awareness about it (and other stuff I'm working on). In the meantime, look at this error in the thumbnail.

Version 0.1.1 has been released!

Update on the top-down Doom game I was working on before: enemy variations from different games are included. The video demonstrates both the classic Pain Elemental and its Doom 64 counterpart in action (as well as their Lost Soul variations)
