Version 0.3 is Here!

Hey, all!

Finally here with a brand new update for XL! Even though I didn't quite add all I was intending for this one, I did manage to pack in a decent amount to do. (And it's mostly Halloween themed!)

New content:

-The first two Challengers can be beat and will join your party: BB and JJ!

(Note: I haven't set up any mini-bosses yet, so for now you can fight BB and JJ indefinitely.)

-The Poppers, Balloons and Unscrew skills are here!

-The framework for the Dusting Fields is now available to explore

-Possy has returned to XL, this time bringing with him a brand new costume shop! If you find enough Faz-Coins, and you can give Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy some awfully familiar looks!

-Lolbit's Byte Store near the soon-to-be Lilygear Lake now sells

the Medpod bytes: Medpod 1, Medpod 2, and Mega Med!

-A new area can be accessed through a glitch in Fazbear Hills:

8-bitronica!

-12 enemies and 8 bosses can be encountered in this new hostile zone. Better bring a byte or two!

-A brand new chip can be found: Find: Coins!

-Meta has finally stepped down from the intro dialogue to make way for Fredbear

-The first achievable ending is here!

Fixes:

-Fixed an issue where enemies would not explode upon their health depleting

-Fixed an issue where you could buy the same bytes from Lolbit's store

I'm pretty sure that covers everything I added/fixed. I'll update stuff as needed, but it should be pretty stable. I hope you all enjoy the new content!

'Till next time!

New project is having a fun, early outing.

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Save file stuff (sidequests, maps and "autosaving") might currently be a troublesome mess, but at least development on OCN is going pretty smooth.

Pretty safe to say that Possy will be increasing the price of costumes to compensate for this recent development.

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!

Still deciding if it's worth committing to a full rebuild, but I at least figured out a better way to handle the party swapping mechanic.

Yeah, we're doing this.

Suppose it was about time that some of these skills got a little extra kick.
