Welcome to the second devlog on Riverwood! Now let's go over what has been added, shall we?

Well here we are with the second devlog, and I have a few new screenshots and features I want to talk about.

First off let's get some gameplay elements talked about, I've been working on developing different types of weapons like the pistol, shotgun, submachine gun, etc, and soon I wish to show some of the fun weapons. As well as weapons being worked on some hud elements have been added, for example if you picked ammo or health and if you have acquired a weapon.

Second, let's go over the screenshots, the screenshots are taken in a new level that has been challenging to make but in the end, I am proud of this level because it's the first time I've added things like traps, secrets and colored doors and a few other stuff.

The last features are the enemies which I've added some prototype enemies that I might stay in or eventually leave, who knows but at least they're good for testing purposes.

I hope you enjoyed the second devlog, and hopefully, soon I'll have some gameplay which is a better way of showing features instead of writing them out in a word document, anyways thank you for reading and Happy 4th of July!!!

Created an zombie like enemy AI script which works (somewhat) well with the animation's and the player. Obviously very early showcase but I'm slowly working my way forward. #WIP #unity3d #gamedev #indiedev #screenshotsaturday

Here's an early video of a simple door mechanic I worked on, I wanted to replicate Resident Evil's door system which changed rooms while keeping your position on the last room and when you returned your player spawned near the door. #indie #unity #gamedev
