I wanted to choose MZ for this, but after working on it for a little bit, I realized that, well, I don't like its RTP. And although it has great functionality and improved optimization, I'll still choose another engine of the same series, most likely XP, VX Ace or MV, or even RM2003 if I feel like going straight into retro-retro like the first Final Fantasy.
