Work Begins on v1.2.0

Oh, hello again, blokes and blokettes!

So soon after the release of version 1.1.0, I have now started working on 1.2.0, the version which will add the option for in-game cutscenes instead of animated ones (among other, smaller things).

For those not familiar with why: the animated cutscenes would cause the game to crash for some people, giving some kind of DirectDraw error, or something like that… A possible fix was found in installing the K-Lite Codec Pack, but I don’t like making people have to download some other software to be able to play my games!
This upcoming update aims to help by adding an option right at the start of the game, allowing you to choose between the usual animated cutscenes, and in-game ones, consisting of pictures, or characters moving about in-game.
Needless to say, the in-game cutscenes will be far less complex or interesting as the animated ones, but if it makes the game playable, good enough! The animated ones are in the Movie folder anyway, so you can always go there to watch them if you like!

It’s been well over a year since I initially released Virus Bloke 2, so it’s about time I got around to this…
Sorry to any who have been unable to play, and I hope that, when this update comes, you are finally able to, and enjoy it enough for the wait to be worthwhile!

I’ll be sure to post another news thingy when that update finally comes!
I shall try to get it out as soon as possible, though the new year promises to be a busy one for me, so we’ll see how it goes.

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
Thanks for the continued support, everyone! You’re all awesome!
