Working on a new mechanic for my platformer, getting the controls right for this was a brain bender. Still not sure I got it right.

I'm new here and today I made this little comparison.

Watching old gameplay shows me how far I have come but on the other hand makes me nostalgic about the overly complex movement mechanics I had.
