Ahem, since when trainers could die in Pokémon Silver?
I found an old save file (the one I made around 2022-2023) from my old Chinese bootleg console, and when I loaded it, here's what I saw in the trainer menu

I updated the combat screen to first person, it's faster and easier to place the monsters, and I think it gives a very attractive and unsettling feeling♡

Not sure why these Mobs move backwards sometimes?
They're set to check the angle from the last position to the current then flip if the angle is >90 and <= 270
