Yeah, he originally started as a Sonic OC, sue me
He was also WAY younger (7) and I envisioned him as being besties with Charmy
Also have Sonic taking him on a trip through Ice Cap

this is the current look of Dark Oak. the first design had too details it looked like a Transformers... it was looking good but the details, the modelling part took me too much time so I didn't like it XD
