I'm a fun lovin' dude who likes to play indie games that have effort thrown into them, plus I might also make a game in the future who knows.

holy level design batman, here's a question, were any of you caught off guard with how much work level design was? I've got charts, floor plans, and paragraphs on what will happen...just wondering if anyone else ever had their desk submerged as well.

my battle system works!!! I can't believe I've gotten this far, usually by now I would've changed projects...alright me >w>

do any of you ever find yourselves building a setting like a room or such, and then find that you're trying to think up a story or background to it. I imagine you guys plan that stuff beforehand but, I always end up doing this, almost instinctively.

How's everyone doing? I see a lot of advertising and progress

posts so I figured I'd ask a friendly question for a change ^w^

Out of curiosity, what do you think of rpg maker? is the quality of games made from this dependent on the dev, or is it doomed to fail just because it's rpg maker?
