Random in Minecraft

so uh im working on a minecraft mod thats about to be out of the conceptual phase, so you guys have any last minute ideas?

Tbh that's quite an unpopular opinion but I think if Mojang doesn't want to add different wood type items so BADLY then Smithing Table's or Fletching or any other of these should only be crafted with the wood type of their texture.
Encourages travelling.
