The lighting effect isn't a filter from the start; I use an add-on (the Bloom V2 effect from the Sprite Effects add-on on Sharkpool).
We have contacted the original creator of YOF and we decided to do a Q&A about his long lost game and himself....

Should i go back to making games? yes, i've been working on it over and over again but i can't get a game out because i'm losing interest and i need help from people in the community who follow my games.
