What do you think?

Nice work on your game! I like your idea of needing quotas of humans and animals to complete each run. The asteroids are a good challenge and I like how there are more humans/animals than you need so you can choose which ones to go after. The sprites are nice and I like the alternating backgrounds, too. Fun stuff!

The cutscene at the start had nice presentation, but the gameplay itself feels a bit awkward to play. I think part of the issue was the pixel perfect camera that you used, which makes the camera shake when moving diagonally. Also, collisions felt a bit weird, since it would feel like sometimes you would get stuck on the planets if you flew too close to them.

I think the overall concept is good, and I liked a lot of other parts of the game. If you have time to do some polishing before the final deadline, I think this could be a good contender!

I can't get past the first menu TT___TT

Fixed the issue with it not responding. When opening the game mouse click on the window and it will respond to keyboard inputs.

Luckily the Intergalactic Federation is offering a reward of a whole 4 Bars of Internet Connection to anyone who is able to rescue a quota people and animals from Four Galaxies on the brink of devastation.

Polished up the gameplay for #OperaGXJam following some handy feedback!

Camera now moves smoothly on diagonals, fixed collisions on planets, and the tractor beam extends twice as fast.

Also more designs for the people/aliens and animals to rescue!
