"Cold Cases" is a challenging and thrilling FNaF fangame that serves as an alternate reality to the mainline game storyline. This game delves into the more mature and gruesome corners of the FNaF canon, featuring not only the nerve-wracking survival mechanics but also intricate puzzles, strategic gameplay elements, and a storyline filled with mystery and gore.

As a private investigator for the kidnapping of 7 children, a coincidental position as the night guard of a family pizzeria tied to the series of unsolved murders you are trying to solve. Your primary goal is to survive five nights while uncovering the truth behind the horrific events that took place. Each night becomes progressively harder, with more aggressive animatronics and increasingly complex systems to manage.

You must monitor the animatronics through a network of faulty security cameras, manage your limited door power, and ensure nobody gets in. Failing to do so will result in a brutal and gruesome end, as the animatronics are angry, relentless, and aggressive.

After each night shift, you can choose different paths that lead to different post-shift minigames that offer a chance to earn extra money. These minigames vary from repairing faulty animatronics or searching for hidden objects in dark rooms. completing these minigames rewards you with cash that can be spent at the local pawn shop.

After each night, the pawn shop is open and is nearly essential for ensuring your survival through the game. With the money earned from your shifts and minigames, you can purchase upgrades such as:

• Enhanced Security Cameras: Improve camera refresh speed and add motion detectors to track animatronics more efficiently.

• Animatronic Redirectory systems: Override animatronics' programs and lure them away from your location temporarily.

• Upgraded batteries and power sources: Upgrade your power efficiency and durability to use systems for longer and more efficiently.

• And many more!!!

Cold Cases is not for the faint of heart. This game delves deep into disturbing and gory themes, with realistic graphic depictions of violence and dismemberment. The animatronics are not only aggressive but are also depicted with grotesque, human-like appendages inside of them. Each game over results in explicit and gruesome death scenes that are likely not for the very faint of heart.
