In 1995, after Sonic and his friends saved the world from destruction, Sonic rose to immense fame among humans not only as the fastest thing alive, but also as one of the greatest heroes in history. As a gesture of gratitude, a small company decided to create a Sonic-themed restaurant in Station Square, celebrating the hero’s legacy.

The restaurant quickly gained popularity and became a symbol of admiration for the blue hedgehog. Wanting to support the project, Sonic and his best friend, Miles "Tails" Prower, offered their help. Sonic promoted the establishment during his personal world tour, while Tails contributed by designing and installing exclusive technology. Among these innovations was a prototype of Tails’ latest invention: a cloning machine. With it, the restaurant staff successfully created a younger clone of Sonic. However, a flaw in the process resulted in a distorted version yellow in color, slightly slower, with a different voice. Tails and the company decided to use this imperfect clone as a test subject within the restaurant, naming him Origin Sonic.

Meanwhile, the notorious Dr. Eggman, who had been pretending to reform after his latest failed scheme, learned about the cloning machine. Seeing it as a perfect opportunity to build an unstoppable army, he devised a plan to steal it. To study the restaurant’s security firsthand, Eggman applied for and secured a job as the night guard, working from 12 to 6 AM.

Deceiving everyone with his fake redemption, Eggman believed he finally had the perfect chance to defeat Sonic once and for all. But little did he know... something far more unexpected was waiting for him inside the restaurant.

Five Nights at Sonic's 5: Time Twisted is a fan-made remake of the original FNaS 5, aiming to enhance and modernize the experience in every possible way. This version rebuilds the game from the ground up, with a focus on delivering smoother gameplay, a more chaotic and engaging atmosphere, and an overall more enjoyable experience for both newcomers and long-time fans.

The project draws strong inspiration from The fnas Remakes Collection by Glittertrash, while also being heavily influenced by standout fangames such as Kudzu’s Pizzeria, The Cog Forever Spinning, The Return to bloody nights and others.

You play as none other than the infamous Dr. Eggman, who, in his latest scheme for world domination, takes a job as the restaurant's night security guard in hopes of stealing a powerful cloning machine hidden inside. However, his plan quickly unravels when he discovers that the only active clone roams the restaurant at night with sinister intentions. Now, Eggman must survive from 12:00 to 6:00 AM... or face the consequences.

While Time Twisted retains the classic “sit-and-survive” gameplay formula familiar to fans of FNaF and the original FNaS 5, it has been completely readapted for a more refined and focused experience under modern standards. The game is intentionally short, with unnecessary elements from the original being removed or streamlined to better fit the pacing and style of this type of game.

Will it play like the original game?
While Time Twisted is primarily based on the original Five Nights at Sonic’s 5, the gameplay has been significantly reworked. Expect a familiar foundation, but with new mechanics.

Is this an official remake?
No. This is a non-official fan remake. Although based on FNaS 5 originally created by CyVapthis project is not affiliated with or endorsed by him in any way.

When will the game be released?
There’s no exact release date at this time, as the project is still in development. However, the current goal is to release the game sometime in 2026.

Will the game be available in other languages?
The game will only support English and Spanish language.
