Long Review (May Contain Spoilers):

Story - I loved it. Despite this being the demo, I am already interested in the characters and Warrior's backstory. The beginning scene felt a bit corny, but the other story beats were great.

Gameplay - I do not have much experience with turn-based combat, but I can say the gameplay was fun. Combat went smoothly and at no point did I feel overpowered (though this is a demo). I appreciate the concept of optimizing the group's equipment and fitting it to your playstyle. A small suggestion I have is to highlight interactable objects. Sometimes it was hard to notice if an object was part of the background or not. It did not hinder the gameplay for me, but the feature would be nice if included.

P.S. Warrior's interactions with the flowers are probably one of my favorite parts of the game.

Music - I love the music, especially when entering the creepy mountain. The boss music in that region is just amazing. As a fellow Indian, I appreciate the decision to include Indian vocals and beats. The final boss fight was also pretty intense, and I loved it.

Game Performance - Minor bugs are to be expected, but that is all right. The game crashed once, I believe upon leaving the second town to find Wam. There is a tile in the BullWorm den that you cannot walk on or is interactable (top left corner of the map). I do not know if this is intentional, but I am noting here nonetheless. Sometimes picking up an item does not appear on the hud, though the SFX for picking up an item is still heard.

A major issue was when an error kept popping up during the final boss fight. The error said it could not load an image file. The battle will continue but the error kept coming again and again. Saving a different load did not help. The issue was fixed upon renaming the file it said it could not load. Other than that, the game worked perfectly fine.

Art - I like the style. At times, the characters' full portraits scare me, but I believe I am just easily scared. The character designs and towns are nice. When the atmosphere wants to be creepy, it delivers. When the party cutely interacts with each other, it also delivers. Not much else to be said.

Finest Fable is a submersive Turn based RPG set in the fictional world of Magi.
The Dark Lord runs rampant in the country of Nationia, seeking to regain its lost power after being defeated by AlGore, the Legendary Hero of Light, 25 years ago.

Many heroes have been chosen to take AlGore's place after he mysteriously disappeared, however, you're not one of them.
You're a Drunk Ex-Royal Guard set to defeat The current Legendary hero of Light after he stole your drink.
Chase after him and get in more trouble than you can possibly imagine, after all, the fate of the world is in the Hero's hands, but you don't care, do you?

This comedic take pokes fun at the fantasy genre, inspired by games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest.
