What do you think?

hi

Really Cool! the game was very spoopy. the pixel art style was very nice, the voice acting was good, and the "decent" (get it?) into madness was well done, with the changing background, and the mouse getting out of control (that was really cool), overall, a really good game, and a really good game jam game too!

my video on it, (if you want to see it lol): https://youtu.be/EtLeaWS-f-o

Descend into the haunting depths of the human psyche in 'Going Down,' an emotionally charged indie game that takes you on a profound and unforgettable journey. Step into the shoes of Alice, a woman battling trauma and depression, as you embark on a unique guided tour of her troubled past, all within the confines of a mysterious elevator descending to the ground floor.

In 'Going Down,' you'll face the challenge of confronting inner demons and unravelling the complex layers of a troubled mind. As you descend, each floor represents a pivotal moment in Alice’s life, offering deep insights into her struggles and triumphs. The elevator becomes a vessel for self-discovery, with its controls mirroring the choices and emotions that shape the narrative.

Going Down. The elevator is back. An important inclusion.

Been making some progress. Nothing major, but exciting!

A lot of my work this week has been on project planning to keep me on track and within scope. It's looking good!

Lots of polishing and planning done this week.

Do you think the game feel claustrophobic enough?

Wasn't sure how to handle dialogue in this new version. The old version was a mess.

I think I've got it figured out now. I'll explain more later, but enjoy this video.

I had a bit too much fun making office chairs pushable...

The atmosphere is just right. Time to get to the story put together. Soon, I'll show you how the game looks in action.

The full version of Going Down is coming together (at last)

This time, your choices take you outside the elevator to expand the story.

Plenty more twists and turns...

The Ludum Dare Jam version of the game I now available on Mac!

We're working on it. A full version of our Ludlum Dare entry from a while back.
