In a cold, post-human future, NAO (Neuro-Analog Organism) is the first of its kind—an android carrying a human soul. But the experiment failed. Though the body functions, the soul lies dormant, stripped of its emotional core.
NAO’s journey is one of restoration. Scattered across the fractured networks of the old world are encrypted data fragments—emotional blueprints, left behind by those who feared a world without feeling. As NAO retrieves these fragments, it slowly rebuilds what was lost: empathy, joy, grief, guilt, love.
But the deeper NAO delves, the more the truth unfolds: Was this soul ever theirs to begin with? What is the cost of reclaiming emotion in a world that has erased it?
