This is a really good game hope it gets good and makes lots of money :)
Retro racer is an 8-bit style top down arcade racing game where you pick your car and track and race against AI or against your friends in multiplayer, the championship mode offers a great way to get used to the tracks and cars. Or why not try the career mode where you can rise the ranks from slower stock car racing all the way up to legendary motor sports such as F1.
The game also offers great, easy modding to suit the player base and you can mod something from as little as a car or new track (using the built in track editor) up to things like a new scenario for the scenario mode to challenge your abilities.
New discord, things are explaining on the devlog being published in the discord, its been half a year and the game is being completely rewritten.
Its settled, we are moving to unity, starting wednesday :). Ty to the people in the Pyglet discord for all the help.
There's a choice to make, so the game has been going ok but i have been thinking about moving it from python to unity, i don't think it will affect the quality of the game and id be able to work on it easier and faster.
Hi there,
After a break for some mock exams i'm back at it today starting with a development report, there are some major bugs that need to be sorted and major game features that need to be implemented, and even some existing features to be redone.
I have been working on the cars for a couple days now, its coming along well and soon il be working on the track editor
