Summary: This game is good and terrifying, and you should play it right now.
THIS, NOW THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A GOD DAMN FNAF GAME! I stumbled upon this hidden gem while I was scrolling down the Hot tab for Gamejolt FNaF games. It looked really cool with the lighting of the renders and the renders themself just screaming QUALITY! I left a lil comment and tucked it into the back of my mind. Deciding I'd revisit it after I beat Dormitabis Remastered and am I glad I came back! This game is phenomenal and is one of the few FNaF fangames that actually scares me. A lot of other fangames don't really do that but I'm okay with that because the gameplay is solid and fun.
This game manages to not only have a very fun gameplay loop, but also manages to get my heart racing and my kneecaps quaking. The 2 animatronics in the halls constantly close in, providing a sense of urgency while you're doing your tasks. You have to battle away the anxiety in your head telling you that the fox and bear are right there and your about to die, while also fearing the strange human thing smashing out of captivity and ending your life. Desperately clicking the buttons because you know death is nearing and you don't want to face another incredibly animated jump scare.
I also think the final boss is great as well. You're sitting there in your room, the way you have to pull the arrow echoing in your head as you hold down the charge button praying the amalgamation doesn't come on in to give you an early grave. The twist at the ending was great also, with William Afton glaring at you in the dark.
I also like the smaller details that aren't horror related: The tip text was amusing and made me chuckle a few times. The tutorial text was funny as well. And I'm glad you included these funny tips and tutorials because it makes the absence of them on the final stage scary. You know the game isn't kidding around anymore when the funny ha ha text stops being funny and just says "Good luck". Ominous as all hell. I really liked the story of this game with how it's a cruller more unique take on the Sister Location plot. I'm looking forward to whatever you make next and hope it's as good as this!
Also, I know what he was cooking. Because I am he. And I (he) was cooking a bad review of a great FNaF fangame.
8.3/10 and a Gold Star!
I personally cannot wait for this game
