What do you think?

Man, you did such an amazing job with this mod. So much changes and additions that really made it feel fresh. The dialogue and some cutscenes genuinely made me laugh as well. Absolutely phenomenal work!

There is a way to make an alternative to the path of rodriguez in which Leonard is a replacement for rodriguez, as for me, there is a premise that he was able to take the true art style scroll from the father of the yogurt master (and also because I want to see an epic battle of the entire jerry team against hart)(I'm also Russian and all this was translated through machine translation) (and if it sounds like nonsense, then I'm sorry)

Any updates?

I find this in a vegaful mod

Hey there! I was just wondering if there was any progress on the Johnny and Gary route. Also, sorry if this is a bad place to ask, I honestly had no idea where else to ask about the progress on the game.

A mod expanding another mod that crosses over two separate fangames.

LISA: Vegaful in Hopeful lets you experience the events of LISA: the Hopeful from the perspective of everyone's favorite goons working for the best warlord in Eastern Olathe, Vega Van Dam*.

*(When compared to other people named Vega, anyways.)

  • Run through Backwater Olathe from a new-ish perspective.

  • Play around with every party member from Vegaful, plus two from Hopeful, all there for you to recruit and use at your leisure. There are also three unique party members on a certain route as well.

  • Paul Peacock modified slightly to act like a normal party member (assuming you don't miss him).

  • A few tracks from Vegaful added into the mix of battle themes.

  • Nine endings across four routes.

  • Some miscellaneous minor things I threw into the game for the heck of it (new fights, new equipment, etc.).

  • And probably a bunch of glitches and typos I forgot to get rid of.

This is an expansion of a mod originally by SpecterReaper.

LISA the Hopeful was originally made by Taco Salad, and LISA the Vegaful was originally made by Frowgurt, (not to mention the numerous contributions others have done to bring both of those games into the state they are in currently).

Some additional moves for certain party members originate from SpecterReaper's Sindy Gallows overhaul, and are used with permission (albeit permission I should have gotten earlier than I did). Full disclosure, Leonard's moves have been tweaked slightly to adjust for a different combo dial.

This isn’t an official LISA title, and the publishers of the official trilogy suggest that you play one of the mainline games before moving on to any fan games. More info can be found here.

Addendum:

Fixed Thomas Cider forcing you into Lunatic Mode, and fixes some issues with Thickass Magnum’s gimmick only working with one attack.

Sorry if the frequent updates are annoying. I'm just trying to be quick on the draw with bugfixes and balance changes.

Addendum to 1.0.4:

Okay, I think I actually fixed the softlock this time. I fixed something, anyways. I also accidentally left in something I was using for testing purposes in the game when releasing 1.0.4, so I took that out, too.

Addendum to 1.0.4.

Forgot to add a mention of the health bars script to the credits. So I updated the game again to add it in.

I made another update. Hopefully the issue with that last truck scene is finally fixed.

No, I don't know why I named this release after a Talking Heads song either. I mean, I know the logic I had, I just don't know why I actually went through with it.

Well that was fast.

Rebalanced some stuff and squashed some bugs.

Also, if you haven't played Joyful in Hopeful yet, do it. It's great. https://gamejolt.com/games/lisajoyinhope/682683

1.0.1 is out, sooner than I'd expected.

I forgot to do a few things before releasing the game to the public, so I added them in fixed some problems I'd missed.

I couldn't fit all I wanted to say into the word count, so that's why the picture's here.
