Wake Me Never is a narrative-driven psychological visual novel that blurs the line between dreams and reality. The story centers around Nagano Ken, an 8th-grade student who repeatedly dreams of being a police officer in a decaying suburban town called Tiszagyász. These dreams grow increasingly vivid, unsettling, and interconnected with his waking life.

As Ken navigates daily life at school, contemplates his future, and interacts with classmates, a deeper mystery begins to unfold—one rooted in his subconscious, but possibly extending far beyond it. Players must guide Ken through his internal conflicts, interpret cryptic symbols, and make choices that influence both his perception of reality and his relationships.

The gameplay blends slice-of-life school interactions with branching decision paths, interactivity in subjects such as art and math, and gradually intensifying horror elements. Key narrative moments are supplemented by symbolic dream sequences and disturbing discoveries that challenge the player's understanding of what is real. #visalnovel #storyrich #narrative #interactivefiction #psychological #psychologicalhorror #dreams #surreal #mystery #thriller #atmospheric #choicesmatter #2d #singleplayer #school #sliceoflife #horror
