World of Pirates 🏴‍☠️

Sail the Caribbean Isles in a pirate ship, lotting and trading all your merry way! This pirate adventure game is in its early development and still has a long way to go! One test level is completed so far, where players can shoot, collect loot, sell and buy from various shops, and more.

Game Functions

Enemies, both naval ships and merchant ships will spawn naturally. Both drop different types of loot and rarities for their loot which can be sold at any shop.

Shops buy and sell at different prices, and some shops have better deals than others!

The wind Direction indicator can be VITAL in controlling your ship! Sail into the wind and your ships speed will be drastically reduced. Sail into the wind and your speed will be normal. Don't worry though, enemies are also affected by the wind too.

The Goal

• To make various levels based on real locations in the Caribbean.

• The player can destroy cities for quick loot, or trade with them.

• Various factions such as Spanish, British, Portuguese Navy's, and merchant ships.

• The ability to raise fake colours, where the player pretend to be various factions to sneak around undetected!

• A potential story line where the player is challenged to control the Caribbean Isles, and be the dreaded captain of the East Coast!

How to Play! 🎮

Movement

Use the "WASD" keys to move and control speed. "W" for raising sails, and "S" for lowering sails.

"W" & "D" are for turning left & right.

Shooting

Press "Spacebar" to fire cannon volleys on both sides of the ship at once.

Use to mouse to select the left side of the ship to fire in that direction, and click the right side to fire on the right.

Inventory

Press "I" to open inventory.

Settings
