You awaken in a place that feels both remembered and forgotten — a nostalgic torment you can barely place.

The air is thick with mold, the sour scent of wet carpet clinging to every breath. Walls of endless yellow hum beneath the flicker of buzzing fluorescent lights. A maze of empty office space stretches forever, each corner promising nothing but more of the same.

It feels familiar. Too familiar. And yet… not right.

You can’t recall how you arrived here, or what incident pushed you into this half-reality. But deep inside, you know something waits in these halls. Something watching. Something wrong.

There is no exit in sight. Only the creeping certainty that, if you linger too long, you will lose whatever humanity you still have left.

Backrooms: Escape From Reality will have multiple phases of gameplay that centre around planning ahead and strategizing. Keeping out of bad situations is key to your survival, and there will be many obstacles that you will encounter throughout the game that will test your skills unlike any other.

With only the help of the voices inside your head, you are left completely alone to defend yourself.

Stuck inside endless rooms, being watched from every corner. Brace yourself for puzzles to solve and entities to hide from. All while trying to Escape From Reality...
