Yeah, I’ll just say it, this game fucking slaps. The large variety of its gameplay, the shit ton of extra content, the amazing character design, it’s all really, really good.

I love how creative y’all got with this game, it really shows how much dedication was put towards it, and it really shows through in the end. I had loads of fun with this, however, there’s only one real thing I personally have a problem with, the story.

Cabin Fever’s story was never all that good, and while the story in this is obviously the best we were gonna get, I still do have my issues with it. Not with its over the top nature however, I kinda grew to like that if I’m being honest.

No, my real problem is with Katie, Carlos, and their lack of build up. I don’t even consider this the fault of The End to be honest, but regardless, it lingers, at least for me that is. I personally hope that Cabin Fever Remastered ends up building Katie up more, that way her’s and Carlo’s adventures in The End can have more of a weight and impact.

But yeah, aside from that, this game is Nevermore levels for me, maybe even a bit better since the gameplay has so much variety. And while Nevermore is still a really damn good game, I do really like the quality and quantity in this one, it just gives you so much to do, even after finishing the main story. But yeah, that’s the jist of it. Fucking fantastic work Tagey and everyone else, y’all hit it out of the park with this one. I look forward to seeing what’s next. 👍
