In the Western Kingdom of Tavernar, on the continent of Avelir, beyond the mountains, a path was forged to the magical forests. These forests became a new frontier for the development of magic and research. It was there that the deepest dungeon ever known was discovered — and several factions established their bases above it, beginning their descent into its abyss.

You are one of the adventurers who decided to step into the forgotten darkness, where traps, monsters, and ancient secrets lurk in the shadows. CaveVox is a first-person voxel-style roguelike set in a fantasy dungeon. Brutal. Atmospheric. Unpredictable.

No two runs are the same — corridors, rooms, and items are procedurally generated to make every expedition unique. Explore step by step, level up, find items, avoid deadly traps, and battle the terrifying creatures that dwell in the dark.

Features:

  • Dynamic first-person combat — Use melee weapons, thrown objects, and magic to confront monsters and bosses.

  • Permadeath and tough choices — Every decision has consequences. Mistakes are fatal. Each companion is unique — and can disappear from the story forever.

  • Procedural world — Randomly generated levels, items, and enemies. Explore the world at your own pace and in your own way.

  • Spatial audio — Hear approaching enemies and ambient sounds that immerse you in the environment.

  • Living world — Interact with the environment: light or extinguish candles, search for hidden passages and caches.

  • Single-player and cooperative gameplay — Venture into the dungeon alone or with friends.

  • Unique monsters and encounters — Enemies behave differently: some see, others hear. Some hunt silently or in groups. Each type has its own weaknesses and resistances.

  • Story exploration — Uncover the secrets resting deep within the dungeon.
