What do you think?

Cool game, Loving the customization. 4/5

Warning: RTP included in current download.

Dunlop Cavern marks skaiano’s first completed project, done for RMN's Game Chill event, a winter themed contest. In it you play as an eccentric Hockey player hoping to survive the perils of this mysterious cavern after his eggnog was spiked like no other. Due to the contest's deadline, the game was released in a beta-like format and is accepting any commentary from willing players/testers for future patches.

Features

*Originally Produced Materials – Most of the visual components in the game demonstrate skaiano’s first full-fledged endeavor at making original material. These include custom sprites and animated battlers.
No Random Battles – Enemies spawn in varying locations across a number of zones. They roam the map and will chase you upon being seen. Utilizing the map, nimble players may even avoid such encounters entirely. Though, with limited vision this may prove difficult. There may be a way to address this… if you can find it.
Rogue-Esque Elements – Enemies and rewards may be encountered in varying locations, perhaps even shifting places. Perhaps you’ll luck out and find everything you’d want in a condensed location… or perhaps it will be distributed across the whole dungeon! Circumstances may prompt players to choose how to invest, maybe even gamble.
“Medium-Core” Aspects – Limited vision, vulnerability to terrain, inability to save in unsecure places, inability to escape combat, inability to move quickly, and the fact that you are in this alone. Such aspects may seem indefinite… but are they?

*External scripts and systems were utilized, a full list is available in the READ-ME provided in the download.

*Post-Contest DLC; Due to the time constraints of the contest, there was some additional content that was not able to be put into the current build. However, the current version is fully playable as a standalone. Future DLC is listed below.

Balance & Bug Patch – The game was put through some testing by peers, but there may still be some overlooked conflicts and perhaps some better database parameters. None of it should be detrimental to the general enjoyment game, but could perhaps see improvement.
Visual/Audio Package – There were some particular things I wanted to be more distinct or unique, but due to the time constraint I had to limit myself to some palette swaps, reuse some material, and some uses of the stock RTP here and there. I shouldn’t have any problems making these, but it will take some time. As far as audio, all the music is pretty much finished, but I would still like to overhaul the rest of the sound effects to my liking.
Contextual Material – The story of this game is by no means remarkable, but it would still be nice to see some better delivery of it. I have some background in the artistic department as well as video production; I should be able to implement these alongside the Visual Package.
Final Confrontation/True Ending – This was mainly omit because of both the time constraint and the restriction of the contest; being limited to one dungeon.

All DLC will be completely free, nothing will ever change the non-commercial status of this game.

Dunlop Cavern v1.1 and future content!

Any thoughts on some of my game's media?

Download's up... heh

Yeah, I thought unhiding the game’s profile would unhide everything, but apparently I had to unhide the download as well. Sorry for the mix up! Lesson learned!

Looking for testers!
