Undertale is an RPG game built on the idea of all actions having consequences.

Withing the confines of the game, the player controls the fate of the main cast, and whether they live or die.

Dusttale takes place after the player repeatedly chooses Genocide, slaughtering all the inhabitants of the Underground on a loop.

Remembering all the past timelines, Sans chooses to start his own Genocide Run to gain the necessary power to overwhelm and destroy the player.

This ultimately fails, yet Sans continues this path, having gone too far to give up.

The distortions within the timeline eventually grow so much, that an unfamiliar face the player had missed before is able to intervene.

Sans, together with this peculiar ally, will put together a plan that will ensure the Screams of the Dead have their desire for bloodshed and vengeance sated.
