I hope, I can re-take this game for good!

A strange disc called "SONIC" of a blue hedgehog game that "Thomas Miller" brought a disc to "Kelly Mitchon"

It was November 2008 and I was just scrolling through some videos of classic sega games when I heard a knock on the door, I went to go check order to find a disc with a note attached to it, It said that this was a never before seen build of Sonic 1 and it was said to have content not present in the previous game, Curious i went to put the disc into my computer and i began to play, Little did I know is that something else was in that game too.

"Hey Thomas, I recently found this Sonic game on disc, That claims to be a Cancelled Build of the original, However i couldn't seem to get it running on my Sega CD, Can you figure out why?
