The year is 1997.
Summer has arrived, and like everyone else your age, you’re searching for a way to make some quick cash before school starts again. Flipping through the classified section of the newspaper, one small ad stands out among the rest:

“Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place Now Hiring for a Night Guard.”

The pay is better than expected for a simple security job. No experience required. Just one week of overnight shifts in an old family restaurant that closed its doors years ago. It sounds easy enough… almost too easy.

As night falls, the cheerful mascot filled dining room becomes something else entirely. The lights flicker. The air hums with the low whirring of machinery left running after hours. Shadows stretch across the halls, and the animatronics once meant to entertain children now stand silently on stage, watching.
