KILL DESPAIR is a top-down roguelike shooter game where you fend off endless hordes of horrific entities.
Enter the DUNGEON OF DESPAIR, a horrible place where all of the negativity in humanity manifests into terrifiying monstrosities. Upgrade your weapon and abilities to adapt to the horde as it grows larger and stronger, with new threats appearing the further you progress.
Abilities
Alongside your gun, you have three abilities that can be used in combat.
Dash - An evasive movement ability.
Frost Spear - Throw a spear that explodes, freezing enemies in an area.
Hyperscratch - A powerful close range attack that does high damage.
SKILLS
Every two rounds, gain a skill point. Skill points can be used to upgrade an exsisting skill, or activate a new one.
Skills enhance and alter your weapon and abilities to help you better adapt to the monsters as they grow more powerful. For example, Counter Barrage allows you to automically fire bullets upon dashing, without consuming any ammo. Primal Endurance causes you to take reduced damage after hitting an enemy with Hyperscratch. And Cryogenic Decay inflicts damage over time to monsters hit with your Frost spear.
Strategically unlock and uprgrade all nine skills to aid you in the Dungeon of Despair.
ENTITIES
The Dungeon of Despair is filled with dangerous entities. As you progress, new enemies will begin to appear and exsisting ones grow stronger. More enemies will be revealed and added in the future.
FUTURE UPDATES
-The Shop
You will be able to collect currency from defeated entities to spend at the shop to buy equipment that will boost stats and unlock new abilities.
-New Characters
New characters with their own unique weapons and abilities will be added, one of which is already in early development.
-New Enemies
-QOL and Balancing Changes
